Building in progress...

This site is still in alpha version. Some content is still missing, some links can be broken. The published texts and pictures are finalized, or almost. If you find any mistake or missing link, please do let me know via the contact form. Thanks!

PS: don’t forget to bookmark the site and check on it from time to time, as new content is added regularly and the official launch should be in spring.

Welcome to Pridnestrovie.guide!

If you are reading this post, you are most likely one of our first visitors. The site hasn’t officially launched yet, and you might notice some missing content and broken links (but the existing content is normally up to date). Here is a short FAQ to introduce our pre-release. If you’ve got any questions, feel free to contact us.

We need your feedback

If you spot errors or have some remarks about our site, please contact us or leave a comment below.
We truly value your feedback, as it will help us to improve the site before the official release.

What is this site ? Is it a travel guide to Transnistria/Pridnestrovie?

Yes, it is. But not only. Part of the site is organised as a travel guide for tourists in Pridnestrovie (also known as Transnistria), but the scope of this site is much wider. It is also a source of information on the country itself and its people. We’d consider it more like a door on Pridnestrovie.

A lot of content is missing, when will it be ready?

For now, we’re adding more content every day as soon as we write it. We expect a decent amount of content to be ready by late March/early April. Our aim is to offer a usable version at some point in spring.

Is it an official (governmental) website?

No, this is a private project. It is not connected/funded by any governmental authorities, and none of the statements made on this site can be considered as such. You can read more about it on this page

Can I help with something?

We’re just starting. For now, we are focused on writing the texts. If you think you’re able to help us with something in particular, feel free to get in touch! We’re open and nice.

Also, if you’ve already been to our republic, we’d love to hear about it. We want to publish stories of people who traveled to or have some connections with Pridnestrovie.
